Flat Earthers Spend $20,000 Trying to Prove Earth Is Flat, Accidentally Prove It’s Round

The host of a Flat Earth YouTube channel spent thousands of dollars to prove their theory, but ended up confirming it is round!

Modern society questions everything. However, not so long ago, not many believed that, in the modern era, there will be thousands of people who doubt the theory of a round Earth.

Well, this is happening, and many people believe that our planet is actually flat! According to the Flat Earth theory, the earth is not round. Flat Earthers rely on sight, and claim we don’t live on a sphere as they cannot see the curve!

These people maintain that satellite pictures of the planet are an edited combination of more clipped pictures. Plus, they believe that NASA had NASA photoshopped the round image we’ve been seeing for years!

It seems that everything is fake according to this theory! Flat Earthers say that all the space trips are faked, videos have been recorded in movie studios, and rockets launched into the sky have been empty.

They believe in another, different map, with the north pole in the center and Antarctica surrounding the outer edges of the “pancake-like” planet.

According to this theory, the sun circles around the Earth like ice skaters circle their rinks. A documentary called “Behind the Curve” revolves around popular Flat Earth Theory influencers who try to prove their beliefs.

To prove the theory, Bob Knodel, a Flat Earth YouTube channel host, spent $20,000 on a gyroscope. However, instead of providing evidence for his theory, he debunked it!

Despite the rotation of the Earth, a gyroscope stays in one position. As the planet moves, it leans off-axis, revealing its curvature.

Knodel says:

“When we turned on that gyroscope we found that we were picking up a drift. A 15 degree per hour drift.”

If the planet was a globe, this is the exact thing that a gyroscope does.

So, he continues:

“Now, obviously we were taken aback by that — ‘Wow, that’s kind of a problem. We obviously were not willing to accept that, and so we started looking for easy to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the Earth.”

He turned to another supported of the Flat Earth Theory:

“We don’t want to blow this, you know? When you’ve got $20,000 in this freaking gyro. If we dumped what we found right now, it would be bad? It would be bad. What I just told you was confidential.”

Nevertheless, Knodel refused to accept the findings, and said that he intends to” start looking for ways to disprove it was actually registering the motion of the earth.”

Being the one who would challenge science is not wise if you are too stubborn to accept the facts. Now, everyone can be sure that our planet is round- as even Flat earthers confirmed it!
